Cambridge Fire Headquarters Companies Temporarily Relocate to Hovey Avenue

Effective at 6 p.m. on January 16, 2024, the Fire Headquarters Companies, Engine 1, Ladder 1, Rescue 1, and the Dive Rescue Unit have relocated to a temporary fire house at 15 Hovey Avenue.
This long-term, but temporary move will allow for the major reconstruction project to begin at the 90 year old Fire Headquarters building at 491 Broadway.
The Administrative, Fire Prevention, and Technical Services Divisions will relocate by the end of January 2024.
