A resident of Roxbury was summoned to court after been involved in a car accident and found to be driving a motor vehicle without a valid license. He was not able to produce a valid driver license and provided a passport from Honduras. He stated that he does not have a valid driver license since he does not have a social security.

Two employees of a business located on Brattle Street in Harvard Square report their manager assaulted them both on separate occasions on 4/28/14 between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. The victims report they told the business owner and the manager quit. However, they have been told the manager is coming back to work and they both feel unsafe.

FIFTH ST
Police were dispatched to Fifth Street for a suspicious male. Upon our arrival, we met the reporting party. He stated that a male was on his property and does not live in the area. The male was identified as Jose Lopez, 20, 11 Bartlett Street, Somerville, MA. Lopez agreed that he didn't live in the area. He stated he order a "bean bag chair" to this house. Even though, he did not live there. The owner noticed him loitering in the hallway when he arrived home from work and notified the police. Lopez was placed under arrest on warrant out of Malden District Court.

A resident of Cambridge was summonsed for unlicensed operation (90-10) after failing to stop for a stop sign on Sidney Street at Erie Street. Sidney Street is considered a public way in the City of Cambridge.

A resident of Lincoln Street, Malden was issued a criminal summons for Operating a Motor Vehicle with Revoked Registration, Operating a Motor Vehicle with No Insurance, and Motor Vehicle Not Meeting RMV Safety Standards after he was observed operating a motor vehicle and subsequently stopped on Prospect Street for the invalid inspection sticker (Red "R" Sticker).

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
A Boston juvenile was arrested in the area of the Cambridgeside Galleria. The juvenile entered a store and put on a sweatshirt. The juvenile then exited the store without paying for the item. Loss prevention attempted to stop the suspect and informed the juvenile that he had stolen the sweatshirt he was wearing and asked him to return to the store with them for further investigation. The juvenile stated "I'm going to fight you" at this time. Loss prevention employees stopped their attempt to take the juvenile into custody and contacted mall security and 911. Loss prevention continued to follow the juvenile while on the phone with 911. When the juvenile noticed loss prevention employee's following, he turned and took a fighting stance. He then punched a loss prevention employee in the face and fled the area running with the sweatshirt still on him. He was stopped and arrested.

A tourist from Singapore reported via phone, that while visiting Cambridge, he lost his credit card and multiple fraudulent transactions were made.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
A 911 call was received from a passing motorist on Mass Ave in Porter Square stating a motor vehicle had gone up on the sidewalk and struck a fire hydrant. This incident was reported to be at Mass Ave and Upland Road. Upon arrival, no vehicle was found. We were then told that the vehicle was at Mass Ave and Linnean Street. Upon arrival, a Cambridge man was found in the passenger’s seat of a 2006 Volvo with front end and rear quarter damage. This male was highly intoxicated and very combative. He was observed assaulting a Cambridge Fire fighter. The fire fighter was attempting to turn off the motor vehicle ignition and was assaulted and punched in the face. The Cambridge man in the motor vehicle was placed under arrest and transported to CPD for booking and processing.

BROADWAY
Police reported a crash at the intersection of Broadway and Columbia requiring assistance. Upon arrival, officers observed two cars involved, with one of the vehicles having struck the fire hydrant on the northeast corner. Two witnesses indicated that the Toyota Venza ran a red light striking a second motor vehicle, then striking the hydrant and finally a parked car.
