Derrick Odoms, 42, 39 Boylston Street, Boston, was placed under arrest for Trespassing at a bank ATM located at Canal Park. He was also found in violation of the Sex Offender Registry. Odoms was sleeping in the ATM that was clearly posted “No Trespassing for Bank Business Only.”

Police responded to a Memorial Drive address to document threats by text message report. Upon arrival, an officer spoke with the reporting person who stated that he received several threatening text messages from an unknown suspect this morning.

A Cambridge resident reports that an unknown person(s) gained entry into his motor vehicle sometime between 3 p.m. on 5/12/14 and 8:30 a.m. on 5/14/14 while it was parked on Washington Street. Several personal items that were inside the vehicle were missing.

ECC dispatched CPD units to Mt. Auburn St. on a report of a past larceny. A banner was reported stolen, which had hung on the outside of a local church, advertising for the choir school open enrollment. The banner was valued at over $100. There are no suspects at this time.

Cambridge Police responded to the Kendall Square area for a report of an unknown male assaulting an unknown female. Involved parties were eventually found inside the Kendall Square MBTA station where both admitted to having a verbal argument, but nothing physical.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Cambridge Police responded to a retail store located at Cambridgeside Place for a report of two juveniles being detained for shoplifting. Upon arrival, Loss Prevention informed Police that a male and female juvenile has placed $192.10 in merchandise in their backpacks and had exited the store. The two juveniles were stopped outside of the store by Loss Prevention Officers and the merchandise was recovered from their backpacks. Both juveniles were uncooperative and were unable to provide positive identification and were not able to notify a parent or guardian. Both were placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Concealing merchandise.

Rachel Orban, 43, 341 Broadway, Cambridge, was arrested for wanton destruction of property after she tagged a Central Square business with racist graffiti. Two witnesses saw her writing the graffiti.

Hanifah Abdulbarr, 18, 229 Poplar Street, Boston, was placed under arrest for Shoplifting by Asportation and Receiving Stolen Property after she was observed by a store associate ripping open a pair of scissors and attempting to cut plastic ties off of a watch secured inside of a jewelry box. Abdulbarr then ripped open a box of vitamins and then threw them into an aisle. After Abdulbarr was stopped by mall security and police, she was found to have stolen property from two other stores. Abdulbarr was later placed under arrest and transported to the station for processing.

MOTOR VEH, RECEIVE STOLEN c266 S28

WALDEN SQUARE RD
Two juveniles from Lynn and Anthony Loper-Feaster, 18, 3 Walden Square Road, Cambridge,  were arrested for Receive Stolen Motor Vehicle (266/28/F), Drug Possession of Class B (94c/34/c), and Person under 21 Possession of Liquor (138/34c/a) after the vehicle they were in was determined to be a stolen motor vehicle out of Waltham. Also located inside the vehicle was cocaine as well as Liquor. All three parties were under 21.
