Anthony Loper-Feaster, 18, 3 Walden Square Road, Cambridge, and two juveniles from Lynn were arrested on multiple charges Thursday morning after it was discovered they were operating a Volkswagen Tiguan that was recently stolen out of Waltham.  After the three suspects were arrested following a foot chase, officers located 9.6 grams of cocaine and an open bottle of liquor inside the stolen vehicle.

On Wednesday, May 14 at approximately 11:47 p.m., officers with the Cambridge Police were on routine patrol in Walden Square and queried a vehicle that was parked with three males inside. It was discovered that the 2013 Volkswagen Tiguan was stolen out of Waltham on May 8, 2014. The officers attempted to make a felony stop, but one of the passengers (Loper-Feaster) exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The two remaining suspects then proceeded to drive around the police cruiser and exit the moving vehicle, which rolled into a dumpster. Additional support arrived on scene and all three male suspects were quickly located and taken into custody.  Officers performed an inventory search of the vehicle and discovered 9.6 grams of cocaine in the front console and an open bottle of
vodka.  All three individuals were under 21 years of age.

The Cambridge Police Department is grateful for the hard work of these officers, which led to the arrests of three suspects, the recovery of a stolen vehicle and the removal of cocaine from Cambridge streets.

The details contained above are allegations.  The suspects are presumed to be innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
