Abdul Omer,
22, 6 Kimball Court, Woburn, MA, was arrested for possession of a firearm without a permit, operating with a suspended license, and excessively tinted windows. He was observed by officers, operating a motor vehicle, on a public way with his right to operate a motor vehicle in Massachusetts suspended. An inventory search of the car revealed a firearm concealed in the passenger’s side door panel. Omer does not have a valid license to carry and never had.

The victim of an assault called Cambridge Emergency Communications to inform them that he had just been assaulted after an apparent road-rage incident and he request police assistance. A search for the suspect, who had fled prior to the police arrival, was unsuccessful.
