At approximately 2:05 a.m. this morning, Cambridge Police responded to reports of gunshots near Cambridge Street on Hampshire Street.
There are no reported injuries or victims, but Cambridge Police did recover multiple spent shell casings in a parking lot.
All indications at this point in the investigation are that this incident was not random in nature.
A witness described three possible suspect vehicles exiting the area. One was described as a silver Honda and two vehicles (one black and another maroon) were noted as turning left towards Prospect Street.
