Cambridge Police units responded to a business located on JFK Street for a report of a possible shoplifting in progress. Employees of the business stated that a black male, six feet in height, wearing a red jacket and red sneakers, had set off the alarm while walking out of the store and refused to stop to speak with employees at the business. Officers stopped a person matching the description given by the employees to dispatch in the Harvard Square Red Line Train Station. Upon identifying the individual, a straight warrant out of Boston for Disorderly Conduct for Calvin White was located.

Cambridge Police units responded to Cambridgeside Place for a report of past larceny over $250. Asset Protection employees at the business reported that an employee was observed on video taking items from the store. When interviewed by Asset Protection staff, the employee, David Rivera, 20, of 18 Semont Road of Boston MA, admitted to taking over $1700 worth of merchandise. Rivera was arrested and charged with larceny of $250 by a single scheme.

Robert Perez, 35, of 42 Weaver Street of Boston MA, removed the security device and concealed a box of Dr. Dre headphones, valued at $249.99 in an Expressions plastic bag and made no attempts to pay for the merchandise.
