A Loss Prevention Officer at a Harvard Square Business reported observing a heavy set white male on surveillance camera walking around the employee and storage area of the store carrying two duffel bags. When loss prevention confronted the suspect, he fled out the store after dropping the both bags. Inside the bags were two backpacks, other duffel bags and 25 tee shirts, valued at $1070.00.

Anthony D. Scott, 20, 1023 Blue hill Ave Dorchester MA was arrested after a loss prevention official from a local retail establishment observed Scott enter the store selected a pair of sweat pants off the rack, walk away from the rack and conceal the pants inside a red bag he was carrying. Scott then exited the store, passed all points of sale failing to render payment for the item. Subsequent investigation revealed Scott had merchandise from an adjacent store which was damaged from the security sensor being ripped off. Scott was unable to provide a receipt for the aforementioned items.

Dwight P. Bucknal, 31, 13 Sargent Ave. Somerville, MA, was arrested and charged with O.U.I. (2nd Offense), Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (gun), and Open Container of alcohol by driver. Bucknal failed several field sobriety tests as a result of a motor vehicle stop due to a road rage incident.
