The Cambridge Police Department held a promotional ceremony at the Main Public Library’s Lecture Hall Auditorium on March 2, 2015 to promote two officers to the rank of Lieutenant and six officers to the supervisory rank of Patrol Sergeant.

Shawn M. Lynch
Anthony G. Macone
Philip P. McDavitt
Casey W. McGrath
Mayor David P. Maher, City Manager Richard C. Rossi, Deputy City Manager Lisa C. Peterson, Cambridge Fire Chief Gerald R. Reardon, Cambridge Emergency Communications Center Director Christina Giacobbe and Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert C. Haas joined his Command Staff, city dignitaries, family members, and friends at the ceremony to honor the officers and congratulate them on their promotions.
City Manager Rossi told the officers, “It’s a wonderful day when you can celebrate officers who are promoted and step up in the ranks.” Rossi continued, “The fact that you have a chance to be a leader in this department is an incredibly special opportunity.”
Commissioner Haas said, “I’m very proud of you all and have great faith in your abilities.” He added, “I am confident that you are all going to do a fine job and will continue to represent us well.”
