A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect stole his backpack when he placed it on the ground unattended in Harvard Square. The backpack contained the victim’s social security card, clothes, and other personal items.

BISHOP ALLEN DR
Ronnie Pledge, 58 from 30 Brown Avenue in Roslindale, was arrested on Essex Street for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Revoked Registration, Operating an Uninsured Motor Vehicle, Attaching Plates and Possession/Using a False RMV Document. Officers ran a license plate query of the vehicle’s license plate, which came back canceled. During the traffic stop and upon further investigation, it was determined that Pledge had a suspended license. The vehicle also had an inspection sticker that belonged to a different vehicle.
