A resident of Roslindale was issued a criminal citation for Operating a Motor Vehicle After a Suspended Driver’s License. Officers observed a 2006 Nissan Murano operating on Church Street and an RMV inquiry returned a suspended/non-renewable license status for the registered owner.

A resident of Eighth Street reports that on 5/1/15 at 9:30 p.m., she was assaulted by another resident of Eighth Street, when she struck her in the legs with her metal walker. The suspect is a woman who also lives in the building.

A resident of Revere and Lynn were summonsed to court for one count each of common law affray. Both individuals were involved in a mutual physical altercation against one another at the Middlesex Probate Court. Both sustained minor injuries as well as a third individual who suffered minor injuries from trying to break up the fight.

A Putnam Avenue resident reports that he had a woman over his house on 4/27/2015. As he was in the shower, he alleges that she took his debit card and cleaned out his bank account of over $1,700. He initially thought he had lost the card until he contacted the bank.

Cambridge Police, Fire and a bomb tech responded to Windsor Street for a threat of a bomb in a building.
All units were cleared of the scene after writing was identified on a bathroom wall and the area was investigated.

Cambridge Police responded to CambridgeSide Place after loss prevention was detaining a female shoplifter in the loss prevention office. Loss Prevention Officers stated that they captured on CCTV a female later identified as Jamilia Bradley, 22, 1555 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, walking in and out of various dressing rooms with a shopping bag and later walking out of the store past the last point of sale with no intentions of paying for the items.

A resident of Wisconsin reports sometime since 11 p.m. on 5/4/15, an unknown person(s) removed $700.00 in cash from his suitcase while he was out of his hotel room on McGrath Highway.

A Somerville resident entered the Cambridge Police Department to report a hit and run. The reporting person reported that while he was travelling on Prospect Street in heavy traffic, he stopped for a red light at the corner of Prospect Street and Mass. Ave. He then stated that the light turned green, but there was gridlock and he could not cross Mass. Ave. A commercial vehicle was behind him when he felt the vehicle strike the rear of his car causing damage to the rear bumper.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
A Dorchester juvenile was taken into custody and another Dorchester juvenile was summonsed after a witness saw them use bolt cutters to cut the lock off of a bike that was attached to the bicycle racks outside the mall and steal the bike. After a brief chase, officers were able to catch up to the juvenile and he was placed into custody. Both juveniles are charged with Vandalizing Property and Larceny under $250.
