It was reported to the Cambridge Police that at Holyoke Street and Mass Ave. there was a clear plastic box with wires and a battery attached that appeared suspicious. It was later determined that the object was only an electrical box that activated the lights inside of it.

An Everett resident was stopped operating her husband’s motor vehicle on Prospect Street when she was observed manipulating an electronic device. During the stop, she stated she did not have a license to operate a vehicle. A license query confirmed her statement. She was issued a criminal citation for unlicensed operation and manipulation of an electronic device.

Two of her debit cards were fraudulently used.

FRESH POND PKWY
Cambridge Police were notified that there was a pressure cooker on top of an electrical service box located inside a park. Cambridge police and fire units responded to the scene. A member of the Cambridge Police Explosive Ordnance Unit cleared the item and determined it to be safe. The item was dismantled and discarded.
