A home healthcare worker reports that, while attending a 77-year-old patient on Lambert Street, the patient suddenly became agitated, pushed and struck her as she attempted to provide care. The healthcare worker was not injured and will be contacting her supervisor to address this issue concerning this patient.

Cambridge Police responded to a report of a shoplifting in progress at a business in Central Square. A Malden resident was summonsed for Shoplifting by Asportation after being positively identified by the manager. The manager observed the suspect taking various foods and hand lotions on his person as he walked through out the store. Security footage observed by officers confirmed the manager’s claims.

Cambridge Police responded to the report of a shoplifting in progress at a business on Mass Ave. A male, later identified as Ronald Meadows, 49, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was found running down Western Avenue away from Loss Prevention. Upon stopping Meadows, his backpack was found to have various drugs and items from the store totaling over $250. It was also later determined that Meadows had shoved Loss Prevention when fleeing the store.
