08/14/2015 00:34 INCIDENT 15006081 ARSON OF DWELLING HOUSE c266 S1	NORFOLK ST Cambridge Police and Fire responded to a motor vehicle fire in Cambridge. Cambridge Fire units extinguished any hot spots in the vehicle and determined the nature of this fire was suspicious as they observed the windows to be slightly open.

08/14/2015 08:49 INCIDENT 15006084 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	CAMBRIDGE PKWY A Cambridge Parkway resident reported that on 8/13 an unknown person stole his bicycle after cutting the wire lock that was securing bike to a light post on Cambridge Parkway.

No other damages were reported.

08/14/2015 10:51 INCIDENT 15006087 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$250, MALICIOUS c266 S127	FULKERSON ST A Thorndike Street resident reported that sometime during the overnight hours an unknown suspect broke off the side-view mirror on her motor vehicle while it was parked overnight on Fulkerson Street. No other damages were reported.

08/14/2015 17:53 INCIDENT 15006100 ROBBERY, UNARMED c265 S19	HAMPSHIRE ST Cambridge Police Officers were dispatched to investigate a robbery at a credit union in the Inman Square area. Upon further investigation, officers learned that the suspect threatened an employee at his teller window, with a message on paper that stated he had a gun and made away with $4,300.

A license query revealed that his license to operate was suspended.

The offender was observed driving on River Street with a defective headlight and a license query during the stop revealed that she had an expired license.

08/15/2015 03:10 INCIDENT 15006117 STRUCTURE/BUILDING FIRE RESPONSE	AMES ST A motor vehicle caught on fire at the intersection on Broadway and Ames Street. The two employees who were operating the van were out of the vehicle and uninjured.

08/15/2015 12:53 INCIDENT 15006120 MISC. REPORT TYPE	WESTERN AVE Cambridge Police Explosive Ordinance Unit responded to Western Avenue for a report of an unattended brown satchel bag. Upon inspecting the area, officers found there were no threats or any other suspicious activity surrounding the bag. Officers swept the area and the K9 did not show a change of behavior or alert to the bag. The bag contained a laptop computer and other personal items. The owner of the bag was contacted and all his belongings were presently returned to him.

08/15/2015 15:12 INCIDENT 15006123 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	BROADWAY Cambridge Police responded to Broadway for a report of money being stolen from a Cambridge resident’s safe.
08/15/2015 15:55 INCIDENT 15006125 A&B WITH DANGEROUS WEAPON c265 S15A	RINDGE AVE Ramon Aquino, 362 Rindge Avenue, Cambridge, was arrested for Assault & Battery w/ Dangerous Weapon. Cambridge Police responded to the area of Rindge Avenue for a fight in progress. Upon arrival, the reporting party stated that he was near the playground lot, sitting with his wife and daughter, when Aquino approached them and a physical confrontation took place. During the altercation, Aquino retrieved a stick (possibly a fishing pole) and struck the reporting party on his arm.

08/15/2015 17:35 INCIDENT 15006130 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	MASSACHUSETTS AVE Luis Quiles, 43, 121 South Hampton Street, Boston, was arrested after he was observed cutting the lock and stealing a bicycle from where it was locked on Massachusetts Avenue.
08/15/2015 20:03 INCIDENT 15006132 A&B ON +60/DISABLED C265 S13K F	FRANKLIN ST Steve Burton, 50, 39 Boylston Street, Boston, was arrested and charged with Assault and Battery on a Person Over 60, after he was observed punching a 66 year old male in the chest and throat.

08/16/2015 00:25 ARREST 15006136 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	CAMBRIDGE ST Kevin Obrien, 28, 105 Webster Street, Hanover, was arrested on a warrant out of Barnstable District Court for Possession of a Class A Drug With Intent to Distribute, Possession of a Class B Drug With Intent to Distribute, Conspiracy, Operating a Motor Vehicle With a Suspended License, and a Motor Vehicle Lights Violation.
08/16/2015 09:13 INCIDENT 15006139 MOTOR VEH, MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO c266 S28	CLIFTON ST A Billerica resident reported that his brother-in-law's motor vehicle was damaged while it was parked on Clifton Street.
08/16/2015 09:23 INCIDENT 15006138 MISC. REPORT TYPE	CAMBRIDGE ST Police units responded to Cambridge Street and Fayette Street for a disturbance on board an MBTA bus. The bus driver recounted that a passenger of the bus got on and was berating the driver about stopping, lowering the bus, etc. This passenger continued to yell at the driver despite repeated requests to stop.
08/16/2015 09:45 INCIDENT 15006140 MISC. REPORT TYPE	BISHOP ALLEN DR A cyclist traveling on Prospect Street struck a pedestrian in the crosswalk at Bishop Allen Drive. Pedestrian was taken to the hospital via ambulance for minor injuries.

08/16/2015 11:52 INCIDENT 15006145 IDENTITY FRAUD	CLAY ST A Clay Street resident reported that a credit card was opened in his name on 7/27 and several other attempts to open charge accounts and a personal loan were made during first week of August 2015.
08/16/2015 11:52 INCIDENT 15006146 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	PLYMOUTH ST A Cambridge resident reported that an unknown person removed his bicycle that was locked to a fence in front of a residence on Plymouth Street.
08/16/2015 13:13 INCIDENT 15006148 DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY -$250, MALICIOUS c266 S127	FRANKLIN ST A resident and member of a Franklin Street condo association states that sometime overnight on 8/15, an unknown person(s) destroyed the wooden gate in front of his property. The gate was torn off its hinges.
08/16/2015 13:25 INCIDENT 15006147 LARCENY OVER $250 c266 S30	MASSACHUSETTS AVE A Jamaica Plain resident reported that on 8/15 an unknown person(s) obtained his private information and withdrew $483 from an ATM at Massachusetts Avenue. Whoever accessed his personal information also changed his pin number so that he can no longer access his account. In addition, there were several other unauthorized withdrawals which occurred outside Cambridge.

08/16/2015 17:45 INCIDENT 15006153 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	MT AUBURN ST A Mount Auburn Street supermarket reported that an unknown male entered the store and stole 5 bottles of alcohol valued at $219.90. This larceny was captured on store security cameras.
08/16/2015 20:01 INCIDENT 15006155 B&E FOR MISDEMEANOR c266 S16A	FRANKLIN ST Wisley Abel, 29, 20 Boston Street, Haverhill, was arrested and charged with Breaking and Entering with the Intent to Commit a Misdemeanor. The property owner opened the front door to the unoccupied residence and found a bag of personal belongings and clothes on the ground. When Abel was located inside by the homeowner, the homeowner chased him out of the house and followed him down the street until police arrived. Upon investigation, officers discovered that Abel had broken into this residence on several accounts prior.
