A Charles Street resident reports that on 8/27/15 she was contacted via Facebook that she was a "lottery" winner. A person asked her to send a check for a large amount to an out of state account. After she realized this was a scam, she attempted to contact her bank to stop the transfer.

MASSACHUSETTS AVE
After observing a suspicious group of individuals located inside a parked motor vehicle in the rear parking lot of a Massachusetts Ave. bank, Cambridge Police officers observed this group actively engaged in illicit drug activity. All four parties were directed from the vehicle and taken into custody. A loaded needle with suspected heroin was seized along with additional suspected heroin and other controlled substances. The following individuals were arrested: Kelly Murray, 35, homeless, was charged with Knowingly being Present where Heroin is Kept and a warrant out of Middlesex Superior Court for Intimidating a Witness; David Callinan, 38, homeless, Knowingly being Present where Heroin is Kept; Harold Murray, 33, homeless, Possession of a Class E substance and Knowingly being Present where Heroin is Kept; Christopher Coates, 31, homeless, Possession of a Class A Substance with Intent to Distribute, Possession of Class A and B substances.
