Manuel Antonio Mariano, 46, 26 Belden Street in Dorchester, was arrested on First Street for operating his motor vehicle with a suspended driver's license and possession of Class A narcotics with intent to distribute (Heroin). This was the result of a traffic stop for a marked lane violation. After being taken into custody, officers were conducting a tow inventory of Mariano's vehicle. Located in the driver’s door was a plastic grocery bag containing personal papers belonging to Mariano and a plastic bag containing a white powder substance believed to be drugs. The substance later tested positive for heroin.
