04/07/2016 07:46 INCIDENT 16002268 ASSAULT TO MURDER c265 S15	THIRD ST Cambridge Police responded to a shooting on Third Street. A former employee of a local business at Charles Street -- Kermit Hooks, Jr., 70, of Framingham -- fired multiple shots at a nearby building and a current employee of the local business. The victim, a 58-year-old male, suffered non-life threatening injuries to his face. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Hooks then took his life in an apparent suicide moments later.
