Kerrie Palumbo, 41, from 13 Clarendon Avenue in Lynn, was arrested and charged with Assault & Battery on a Police Officer. During this incident, Cambridge Police responded to Gore Street Park to investigate a complaint involving six individuals who are homeless, who were reported to be yelling and groping each other. After locating a group of individuals who fit this description, Palumbo punched a Cambridge Police officer with a closed fist striking him in the chest. Palumbo was placed into handcuffs and transported to the Cambridge Police Station without further incident.

Shane Sullivan, 31, 271 Winthrop Street in Winthrop, was arrested and charged with Obstruction of Justice and Defrauding an Innkeeper. Sullivan was dining at a Central Square restaurant and after he finished dining, he attempted to leave without paying his bill. When restaurant staff confronted Mr Sullivan, he began a disturbance in the restaurant. The disturbance led outside and then Cambridge Police quickly arrived on scene. While investigating this crime, Cambridge Police required Sullivan to identify himself. However, Sullivan gave a false name in order to prevent proper identification. After multiple attempts, Mr Sullivan told police his real name. A query of this name, revealed multiple warrants for his arrest.
