Cambridge Police Investigate Harvard Street Shooting

At approximately 8:13 p.m., Cambridge Police received reports of gunshots in the area of Harvard and Cherry Street.

Upon arrival, officers located spent shell casings and blood at the scene.  In addition, a report was received from Cambridge Hospital that two male victims arrived at the hospital seeking treatment for gunshot injuries, with one of the victim sustaining serious gunshot injuries, and the second victim sustaining a non-life threatening gunshot injuries. Both victims were eventually conveyed to a Boston Hospital for further treatment.

Detectives are actively investigating.
