An Illinois native came into the Cambridge Police Department to report that he was the victim of an apartment scam. He made arrangements to rent an apartment on Harvard Street from 6/19 to 8/6, but when he came here to see it, the landlord was no where to be found and the apartment belonged to someone else. His check for more than a thousand dollars was cashed.

Cambridge Police responded to Erie Street on the report of a disturbance. Upon further investigation, officers determined that there is an ongoing issue between two residents in their apartment building.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Mass Ave. and Sidney Street for a report of a larceny of a bicycle. The reporting party informed dispatch that they witnessed a light skin black male, 6 feet tall with short hair steal a bike and then get on a bus going towards Harvard Square. It was reported that the bike taken was black with a yellow U-lock, which was attached to the bike. The reporting party also stated that the suspect was wearing a dark colored shirt with writing, dark colored shorts, had a large back pack on and was carrying a second large bag.

A resident of Harvard Street reports that she lost her wallet at a train station today around 5:45 p.m. The wallet contained credit cards, one of which was used for an unauthorized purchase at a restaurant.
