The Cambridge Police Department has confirmed that Officer Jonathan Vicente was arrested by the Revere Police Department on July 10, 2016 for disturbing the peace.  He was subsequently arraigned in Chelsea District Court on July 11, 2016 and released.

In the interim, Vicente has been placed on unpaid administrative leave from the Cambridge Police Department, where he has served as a patrol officer since 2015.

“The Cambridge Police Department is aware of these allegations and takes them seriously,” stated Police Commissioner Christopher J. Burke. “We will provide any support needed from our partners at the Revere Police Department and the District Attorney’s Office to facilitate their investigation.”
