SPERIDAKIS TER
Cambridge Police responded to a Speridakis Terrace residence in regards to a past larceny. The reporting party stated that his camera bag containing valuables was stolen from his driveway earlier this evening. While on scene, officers noticed a nearby open door to a residential unit that was being renovated. Officers located the stolen property inside of a hallway in this unit. A male contractor was also located on scene and he admitted to taking the backpack.

A Cambridge resident reported that they received a telephone call from an unknown suspect claiming to be a close family member of the reporting person in need of money. After the telephone conversation with the unknown suspect, the reporting person attempted to send a large sum of money via money gram to the unknown suspect claiming to be a close family member, but was unsuccessful in sending the money/money gram. The reporting person later learned that the telephone call he received yesterday was primarily a telephone scam from an unknown suspect claiming to be his grandson.

A resident of Francis Avenue reported, sometime between 8 p.m. on August 16, 2016 and 10 a.m. on August 17, 2016, an unknown person(s) stole the mirrors and the registration sticker off of her vehicle, which was parked on Francis Avenue. The same resident reports that sometime on July 11, 2016 and sometime during the last week of July, an unknown person(s) entered her vehicle via unknown means and stole several items.

GREEN ST
Shaquille Lee, 23, 25 James O’Neil Street in South Boston, was placed under arrest by members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations as the result of an ongoing narcotics investigation. At the time of his arrest, Lee was found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine. Lee was taken into custody on Landsdowne Street near Green Street. Lee was charged with Possession of a Class B Substance with Intent to Distribute. Lee was additionally charged with two separate counts of Distribution of Class B Substance for selling crack cocaine  within the city of Cambridge on August 10 and 11, 2016.
