MASSACHUSETTS AVE
Cambridge Police were informed of a possible larceny of a bicycle by an MBTA driver. When police arrived at Mass Ave and State Street, a suspect was using bolt cutters to cut a U-Lock off a bicycle. When the suspect saw police, he ran down State Street. After a brief pursuit, the suspect was arrested. Jose Gomes, 36, 847 Columbia Road in Boston, was arrested for Larceny in Presence, Malicious Destruction of Property and Disorderly Conduct.

Two juveniles, Andrew King, 30, 40 Essex Street in Cambridge, and Abraham Lateiner, 34, 286 Windsor Street in Cambridge, who chained themselves to each other and to the front doors at City Hall and thereby creating a public safety hazard, were arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Interfering with Police after refusing a lawful police order to move out of the doorway.
