Officers from the Cambridge Police Criminal Investigations Unit arrested Merlin Ordonez, 52, 473 Lincoln Street in Marlboro, on a warrant out of Fairfax County, Virginia for Felony Aggravated Sexual Battery.

Cambridge Police responded to a Main Street address for an illegally parked vehicle that had a revoked registration. The vehicle was towed and the registration plate taken from the vehicle.

A Natick resident walked into the Cambridge Police Station to report that on September 6th, a co-worker slapped her face and damaged her cell phone after becoming enraged with the victim. The victim reported a minor injury due to the assault.

A resident of Cambridge states an unknown suspect called his home telephone claiming to be an attorney. This suspect stated a family member of the resident has been arrested and needed money for bail. The resident realized the call was a scam and did not pay the suspect.

An employee at a local business reported a larceny scheme by another employee. The suspect had been overcharging tips given by customers. The reporting party stated that more than 50 customers were victims of the $2068.45 scheme.
