He states a lifelong friend asked him to cash a check for him as he did not have a bank account on 12/15/2016. He cashed the check and handed him the money. The friend won't answer his cell phone and closed his Facebook account. |

01/12/2017 17:23 INCIDENT 17000252 SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE / EOD INVESTIGATION | BRATTLE ST Cambridge Police responded to Brattle Street for an unattended suitcase next to a trash barrel. Upon arrival, officers were told there was a suitcase next to a trash barrel and there were no threats made or any other suspicious activity. CPD utilized the K9 and swept the surrounding area and presented the suitcase to the K9, who didn't show a change of behavior or alert on the suitcase. The suitcase was open and officers could clearly see it was empty and appeared to be trash. The suitcase was disposed of in the proper manner. |

A brown leather case was identified and the K9 didn't show a change of behavior or alert on the case. An officer opened the case and it was determined to be empty. |
