A resident of Everett was summonsed for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle after operating a motor vehicle on Temple Street at Massachusetts Avenue. The defendant was not in possession of a license and had never been issued one. The owner of the motor vehicle was also cited for allowing an unregistered motor vehicle on a public way.

NORFOLK ST
Timothy Walsh, 36, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was arrested for Larceny over $250 outside of a local school at Elm Street. Walsh removed a street sign from the sidewalk on Norfolk Street and then stole a specialized mountain bike worth over $500. Walsh was stopped by officers after he was seen riding the bike in the vicinity of the crime.

A resident of West Cambridge came to the police station to report that sometime during the first week of January, an unknown person stole her credit cards and other documents.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Saville Street for an attempted breaking and entering of a motor vehicle. A witness stated that they saw a black male 20-30 years old wearing red pants and a black letterman jacket pulling on the door handle of a vehicle trying to enter it. The individual was unsuccessful in entering the vehicle because the witness yelled at him. Officers located an individual in the area who matched the description given by the reporting party. Officers found a roll of quarters and a glove in the suspect's pockets. Those items were confirmed by its owner to be stolen from a pickup truck nearby. Kassy Depina, 20. 33 Columbia Road in Dorchester, was placed under arrest and charged with Attempt to Commit a Crime and Breaking and Entering on a motor vehicle in the night time.

Cambridge Police responded to Chilton Street for a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. Upon arrival, it was discovered that the suspect threw a brick through the front passenger window of the victim's vehicle. Several items were stolen from the vehicle.

Cambridge Police responded to in front of a local hospital for a motor vehicle crash involving two vehicles. Both vehicles sustained damage. After further investigation, it was discovered that one of the operators had never been issued a valid Massachusetts License despite being a resident of Massachusetts. This individual was operating a vehicle registered to a family member. The operator of the vehicle will be summonsed for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle. The registered owner of the vehicle will be summonsed for Permitting an Unlicensed Operator to Operate a Motor Vehicle.

The concierge at a local hotel reports an ongoing credit card fraud scheme. iPhones were purchased with stolen credit cards and shipped to the hotel under the name of the victim of the credit card fraud. A suspect calls and said their friend is coming to pick up the fraudulently purchased iPhone. They have been experiencing these incidents since August 2015.

A school administrator from a Cambridge school came to the police station to report a past theft, which occurred on 12/05/2016 at her school. On 12/05/2016, an email appeared on one of the computers at school, which appeared to authorize a transfer of funds. The email was in the reporting party’s name, but did not originate from her email account. The two bank transfers were completed on 12/05/2016, but they did not learn of any wrongdoing until contacted by the bank on 1/10/2017. Both transfers were for more than $250.
