Cambridge Police Investigating Fight and Stabbing Outside Central Square Night Club

The Cambridge Police Department is actively investigating an overnight incident, in which a Haverhill resident was stabbed this morning at approximately 12:30 a.m. in the Central Square area.

As the victim and his friends were leaving a concert, a verbal and large physical altercation ensued outside of a Massachusetts Avenue night club. Officers quickly arrived at the scene and located the victim, who was stabbed in his back, shoulder and forearm. He was treated and taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Additional officers arrived on-scene to disperse the altercation and speak to witnesses and involved individuals. At this point, a suspect has not been identified and an investigation is ongoing.
