Cambridge Police Investigating Gunshots on Market Street Near Windsor Street

The Cambridge Police are currently investigating reports of gunshots that occurred late last night in the vicinity of Market Street and Windsor Street.

Following reports of multiple gunshots, Cambridge Police responded to the 200th block of Windsor Street at approximately 9:26 p.m. Officers with the Cambridge Police searched the area and quickly located and recovered shell casings on the ground outside of a Market Street apartment building. There are currently no reported injuries or victims. Nearby residents reported possibly hearing two motor vehicles screeching away after the gunshots were fired and they were described as possibly being a newer model, white vehicle and a dark hatchback.

Anyone with any information related to this incident is asked to call Cambridge Police at 617-349-3300. The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
