A Cambridge resident states that someone went into her room at the YWCA on Temple St. and went into her purse and took a change purse which contained several cards including one that was used to make fraudulent charges over the next few days in the area of Central Sq.

SIDNEY ST

Drew Cappelo, 51, of Cambridge was arrested for Open and Gross Lewdness 272/16 and Threats to Commit a Crime 275/2 after he was seen by multiple victims walking around a supermarket on Sydney St yelling that he was going to kill them and intentionally exposing his genitals to store employees and patrons causing many to leave the store or walk away and call the police.

GENERAL LOCATIONS IN CAMBRIDGE

A Lowell resident received a call on his cell phone while he was in Cambridge. The caller alleged that his son was involved in a car accident and that he was injured. They demanded money and kept him on the phone for almost five hours. The victim was forced to make several transactions. He eventually was able to call his son who was fine at a friend’s house.

Cambridge Police responded to a Trowbridge St. address for a possible B&E into motor vehicle report. A Cambridge resident reported that while standing on the balcony of his home he observed a male in his 20s wearing a dark jacket with a visible white T-shirt inside his sister's motor vehicle. When the unknown male was confronted he fled the area towards Cambridge St. A search of the area for the SP was met with negative results.
