Officers were dispatched to food store on Mass Ave for a disturbance. A witness informed us that a male entered the store and insisted on an employment application. He began to walk around the store and eat numerous items. He spit some of the food on the ground before an employee confronted him. The suspect berated the employee with racial slurs before fleeing the store.

Christopher Rodrigue, 36, 38 Mansfield Street in Allston, was arrested for shoplifting and a warrant out of Roxbury District Court. Rodrigue concealed five text books valued at $241.67 and walked out the store.

Cambridge Police conducted a motor vehicle stop in Central Square after a motorist took an illegal left turn. As a result of the traffic stop, an East Boston resident was summonsed for Unlicensed Operation of Motor Vehicle and Improper Turn.

CAMBRIDGESIDE PL
Alex Vazquez, Boston, was placed under arrest for Larceny over $250 at a department store. Vazquez was observed by Loss Prevention personnel enter a dressing room carrying eight men's shirts. A short time later Vazquez exited the dressing room without any clothing. Loss Prevention personnel inspected the dressing room and found it empty. They stopped Vazquez outside of their store after he passed all points of purchase. Vazquez was wearing all eight shirts under his jacket. The total value of the clothing was $337. Vazquez was placed under arrest for the above offense. At the Cambridge Police station, it was determined that Alex Vazquez was Carlos Baez, 43, 444 Harrison Avenue in Boston. Additional charges of Providing a False Name After Arrest and two warrants were added to Baez.
