BISHOP ALLEN DR
Cambridge Police initiated a motor vehicle stop after observing multiple traffic infractions. As the stop was being initiated, officers ran the plate in CJIS and found that the vehicle was reported stolen. The motor vehicle fled the scene prior to officers approaching the vehicle, intentionally striking a marked police vehicle in the process. The vehicle then drove through several neighborhoods with two Cambridge Police cruisers following behind with lights and sirens activated. The vehicle struck multiple parked cars while driving. The vehicle committed several more traffic infractions while being followed by police. The vehicle subsequently struck a street sign and tree on Columbia Street before coming to a stop. At this point the operator and lone occupant, later identified as Steeve Milice, 25, homeless, fled the motor vehicle on foot, ignoring several verbal commands from officers to stop. Several officers pursued Milice on foot and apprehended him on Marvin Place. An open container of alcohol was found in the cup holder of the vehicle during an inventory search. Milice was placed under arrest. |
