Cambridge Police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Church Street. A query revealed that the vehicle registration was revoked for insurance purposes. The driver, a resident of Somerville, will be summonsed for the offense.

An Assistant Manager for a department store reports that on 4/25 the store's security video recorded a female suspect enter the store and take several activewear merchandise from a front display and place them into a large shopping bag before quickly exiting the store without paying.

PEARL ST
Cambridge Police responded to a local library for a report of a male which has been trespassed. This male, identified as a resident of Wakefield, fled before Cambridge Police units arrival. It was later learned that the suspect created a hazardous situation within the library, by shouting racial, sexual, gender and orientation messages to staff members of the library. He also reportedly threw one book to the ground and another in the direction of library staff. The suspect will be summonsed for trespassing post-notice and disorderly conduct.

A Cambridge resident was stopped operating his motor vehicle for a marked lane violation. A check of the vehicle’s registration revealed a suspended status for no active insurance. The owner of the vehicle was issued a criminal citation.

Andrew Olson, 36, homeless, was placed under arrest for trespassing after numerous trespassing warnings to a business in the Fresh Pond area.

A resident of Cambridge reported that he was harassed at a fast food business in Porter Square by someone he knows. The suspect allegedly insulted him and threw a pizza box on the table he was sitting at.
