at 6 p.m. at the Cambridge Public Library – Central Square Branch located at 45 Pearl Street.

The focus of this meeting will be on policing in a sanctuary city and immigrant and refugee rights. Neighborhood Sergeant Casey McGrath will be joined by Cambridge Police Command Staff, Executive Director Nancy Schlacter from the Cambridge Human Rights Commission and Executive Director Brian Corr of the Cambridge Peace Commission.

Residents will also have an opportunity to share any concerns or ask any questions related to public safety matters.

Visit www.CambridgePolice.org/NeighborhoodSergeants for information about Neighborhood Sergeants assigned to each Cambridge neighborhood.

Neighborhood Sergeants Meetings are one of the many ways the Cambridge Police Department connects in-person with neighborhoods. This April and May, officers and CPD staff will be joining the Department of Human Services on a door-to-door campaign. Staff will visit various housing developments located throughout the city to meet with residents, provide them with resources and other helpful information, and address any questions or concerns. Five dates are scheduled on Wednesday nights throughout April and May.
