CPD Promotes Officers

The Cambridge Police Department held a promotional ceremony at the Robert W. Healy Public Safety Facility on Friday, April 14, 2017 to promote Silverio Ferreira, Jr. to the rank of Lieutenant and Anthony Bongiorno to the supervisory rank of Patrol Sergeant.

Mayor E. Denise Simmons, City Manager Louis A. DePasquale, Deputy City Manager Lisa C. Peterson, Cambridge Emergency Communications Center Director Christina Giacobbe, Cambridge Peace Commission Executive Director Brian Corr, Assistant City Manager David Kale, Bedford Police Chief Robert Bongiorno, Bishop Brian Greene, retired Cambridge Police Commissioner Robert Haas and Christopher Burke, and Interim Cambridge Police Commissioner Brent B. Larrabee joined his Command Staff, city dignitaries, family members, and friends at the ceremony to honor the officers and congratulate them on their promotions.

Lt. Ferreira joined the Cambridge Police Department in 1989, while Sgt. Bongiorno became a Cambridge Police Officer in 2010.
