A window of a business on Mass Ave. was reported broken by the building manager. It appears a suspect was attempting to reach an item that was on display in the window but was unsuccessful. The damage was caused sometime between the hours of 11 a.m. on 5/28/17 and 6:30 a.m. on 5/29/17.

Cambridge Police units were dispatched to Massachusetts Avenue for a fight at a food establishment. Upon arrival, officers observed the establishment in a complete disarray, with broken table(s) and chairs strewn around and no customers or workers visibly present. Officers proceeded to the back counter where a man was observed in a seated position. He stated that he was a victim of an attack by a male that was outside. The victim stated that he is disabled. After police conducted an investigation, Tyleek Solomon, 22, 12 Boardman Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for aggressively attacking the victim with chairs, tables and other objects, including punching and kicking the victim. Patrons fled due to the attack that was being committed inside. Solomon was charged with Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon - Shod Foot, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon - Table, Assault and Battery with a Dangerous Weapon - Chair, Disorderly Conduct, Malicious Destruction of Property, and Assault and Battery on a Disabled Person.

After an investigation, it was determined that a Cambridge resident would be summonsed for operating a motor vehicle on a public way without a license, leaving the scene of property damage, destruction over $250 in property damage wantonly, and possession with the intent to distribute class D near a school zone.
