Shoplifting by Concealment. Lewis was apprehended by Loss Prevention after he
was observed concealing merchandise in a shopping bag.

An employee of a Cambridge business reported three tools were stolen from the
wood shop at his place of employment. The tools were a compound saw, a gas
nailer and a cordless impact drill. The theft happened between 7 a.m. on
5/31/17 and 7 a.m. on 6/1/17.

entering to his room. He left for the holidays for two weeks and when he
returned, his laptop and a prescription was missing. The door was locked with
a key.

Officers were dispatched to a retail store in Central Square for a
shoplifting in progress. Upon our arrival, officers detained a suspect that
was actively removing theft prevention devices from two items. The suspect
stole a pair of metal hair scissors to manipulate the theft prevention device
on the alarmed items. One was completely removed. The second alarm was
partially removed. An officer witnessed the suspect remove the theft
protection device. The stolen merchandise amounted to $194.41. Edward Crawford,
61, 112 South Hampton Street in Boston, was arrested.

on their residence, which began in early January. This contractor removed the
owner’s custom built outdoor deck furniture and has not finished the
contracted work or returned the furniture. The last time the contractor
communicated with the victim was on 4/25/17.
