Cambridge Police officers were dispatched to an Alewife Brook Parkway address
for a shoplifting in progress. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the reporting
person who stated he witnessed an unknown female suspect place numerous food items
in a blue bag she was carrying and exited the store without paying for the
items. The unknown suspect dropped the stolen items outside the store and
fled in a white marked mini wan when confronted by a Loss Prevention Officer.

Tape Gnegbo, 57, 48 Hubbard Avenue in Cambridge, was placed under arrest and
charged with two counts of larceny of a person over 65 years of age after an
elderly couple flagged an officer down and pointed out Gnegbo and stated he
had just stolen two money orders worth $127.00 each from their person.
Subsequently, Gnegbo had a warrant issued out of Boston District Court for
one count of Witness/Juror/Police/Court Official Intimidation and one count
for Threat to Commit a Crime.
