BRATTLE ST
Cambridge Police responded to Palmer Street for a fight in progress. As a result of the investigation, Rolando Suarez, 25, homeless, was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery, Assault and Battery, and Strangulation. Tremain Haywood, 27, homeless, was arrested and charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery. Tremain was in a verbal argument with the victim. During this argument, Suarez and two unknown males circled the victim. Witnesses saw Suarez go into the victim’s backpack and take a cell phone and keys. When police arrived on scene, they witnessed Suarez sitting on the victim's chest and choking the victim's throat with both hands. During this time, Haywood was repeatedly closed fist punching the victim as he laid on the ground.

CPD units responded to the Cambridge Common for a robbery. On arrival, the victim was located, but the suspects had fled the area. A group was stopped nearby and identified. The victim was transported to a local hospital for minor injuries. The victim had a cell phone, headphones and credit cards stolen.
