Police placed Kenton Thomas, 31, 25 Alpine Street in Boston, under arrest for a warrant out of Boston District Court for malicious destruction of property over $250.

Cambridge Police and Fire were dispatched to a vehicle parked on Erie Street that was covered in a white powder. It was determined that someone sprayed a fire extinguisher inside the interior of the vehicle.

A Malden resident was summonsed for operating a motor vehicle without a valid license after failing to stop at a red light at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Upland Road.

A Cambridge resident reported that an unknown person struck his motor vehicle and left the area without making themselves known.

HAMPSHIRE ST

John H. Coughlin, 58, 240 Albany Street, was placed under arrest for possessing an open container of alcohol in public and breaking and entering into a motor vehicle. Coughlin was observed inside the victim’s vehicle by a co-worker and was seen taking items from the center console. Coughlin was followed by the victim’s co-workers until police could stop him, where he was found to have $13 and a knife that had belonged to the victim, as well as an open can of beer.

ANTRIM ST

Sady Munoz, 52, 699 Boylston Street in Newton, was stopped operating a motor vehicle on Cambridge Street for a marked lane violation. A license query revealed a revoked license status and a warrant issued out of Waltham District Court, Munoz was placed under arrest and transported to the Cambridge Police station without incident.

A Cambridge resident reported that between 8 p.m. to 10 p.m., an unknown person stole her license plates.
