Four young male suspects ordered $98 worth of food from a restaurant on Eliot Street and left without paying. They were last seen boarding a train on the Red Line heading toward Alewife station.

Cambridge Police responded to Central Square for a tow of a motor vehicle in a posted no parking. After running the plate, it was learned that the vehicle's registration was revoked for insurance. The motor vehicle in question was towed, the plates to the motor vehicle were confiscated, and a citation was issued to the owner of the vehicle for parking an uninsured motor vehicle on a public way.

A Dedham resident reported that sometime on 7/28/2017, an unknown person struck his motor vehicle as it was parked at the corner of Main Street and Ames Street, leaving a heavy scratch on the driver's side.

A Cambridge resident was maneuvering out of a parking spot on Harvard Street when her vehicle scrapped along the handlebar of a bicycle that was locked to a city owned street sign. The handlebar scratched the driver's side rear door and the rear quarter panel. The resident requested that a report be taken because they felt the bicycle should not have been locked to the city sign.

A Cambridge resident reported that between 07/30/2017 at 3:00 p.m. and 07/31/2017 at 1:00 a.m., an unknown suspect stole his mountain bicycle that was locked on his front porch.

A Cambridge resident reported that her motor vehicle was damaged by another motor vehicle while it was parked in a parking lot. The suspect operator left the scene without identifying themselves or leaving a note for the owner of the damaged vehicle. An uninvolved witness left a note for the damaged vehicle owner stating that they saw a delivery truck hit her car and leave. The witness recorded the license plate of the truck on the note.
