08/27/2017 17:49 INCIDENT 17006061 B&E MV IN DAYTIME FOR FELONY C266 S18	LONGFELLOW PK A Belmont resident reports an unknown person(s) smashed the front passenger window of a 2010 Hyundai, which was parked on Longfellow Park. The suspect(s) then entered the motor vehicle and stole an iPhone.

08/26/2017 02:25 INCIDENT 17006024 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	FIFTH ST Alemsged Berhe, 23, 8 Marcella Street of Cambridge, was placed under arrest for OUI and leaving the scene of an accident with property damage. Berhe stated to officers that he was operator of the motor vehicle after being found blocks away. Berhe also stated he was the one who was in the crash. Berhe showed indicators that he was under the influence of alcohol during the field sobriety test and that was why he was placed under arrest.

08/26/2017 15:14 INCIDENT 17006034 LARCENY UNDER $250 c266 S30	MAIN ST A Cambridge resident reported to Cambridge Police that sometime between 8/24/17 at 3:30 p.m. and 8/24/17 at 6 p.m., an unknown suspect stole an Amazon package that was delivered for the reporting party. The package had been left outside the front entrance to the apartment building.

When he checked the area this morning, the laptop was missing.

The operator's speed was unreasonable for the area and conditions. A license query for the operator revealed an expired/non-renewable status.

08/25/2017 12:31 INCIDENT 17006008 LEAVE SCENE OF PROPERTY DAMAGE c90 S24	FOSTER ST A woman called CPD to report that she had witnessed a hit and run crash with property damage and that the driver got out, inspected the damage to the parked vehicle and left scene without making himself known. Cambridge Police responded, collected witness information and left a note on the owner’s window. Several hours later, the owner called CPD when he returned to the truck and discovered the damage to his vehicle.

08/25/2017 18:01 INCIDENT 17006012 LICENSE SUSPENDED, OP MV WITH c90 S23	BROADWAY Jason Finkelstein, 27, 149 Meadown Neck Road in Falmouth, was arrested for Operating with a Suspended Driver's License upon being stopped for a red light violation at Garden Street and Mass Ave. Finkelstein also had a warrant out of Westborough District Court for an Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Possession of a Class E Drug.
08/25/2017 18:37 ARREST 17006013 WARRANT ARREST REPORT	HARVARD ST After conducting a motor vehicle stop, a male party identified as Michael Koeller, 26, 5 Linnean Street in Cambridge, was discovered to have a warrant out Dedham District Court for Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, Unregistered Motor Vehicle and a Motor Vehicle Lights Violation.
08/25/2017 18:44 INCIDENT 17006014 SEX OFFENDER FAIL TO REGISTER C601/01/	NORFOLK ST Upon completion of an investigation, it was revealed that Derek Odoms, 45, 39 Boylston Street in Boston, was in violation for Failure to Register-Sexual Offender. He was placed into custody.
08/25/2017 19:26 INCIDENT 17006016 DRUG, POSSESS TO DISTRIB CLASS D c94C S32C	CARDINAL MEDEIROS AVE Members of the Cambridge Police Special Investigations Unit arrested Landers Ivey, 58, 28 York Street in Dorchester, on charges of Distribution of a Class B Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Class D Substance, Conspiracy to Violate the Controlled Substances Act, School Zone Violation and Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License. Detectives conducting surveillance observed what they believed to be a street level drug transaction between Ivey and two other individuals. One of those individuals, upon being stopped, was found to be in possession of a crack pipe containing crack cocaine residue. Ivey was stopped as he left the area operating a motor vehicle and was found to be in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana packaged for street level distribution and $649.00 cash. Ivey has an expired driver's license. The incident occurred within 300 feet of Sennott Park.
08/25/2017 20:01 INCIDENT 17006017 ROBBERY, ARMED c265 s17	FIRST ST A male resident of Somerville reports being robbed of $200 while in an ATM vestibule on First Street. There is presently no suspect information available at this time.
08/25/2017 20:57 INCIDENT 17006020 UNINSURED MOTOR VEHICLE C90 S34J	CAMBRIDGE ST While conducting routine patrol, Cambridge Police observed a red motor vehicle traveling north on Cambridge Street, when it crossed the double yellow lines and made a u-turn going in the opposite direction. After observing the violation, the motor vehicle registration was entered into the CJIS system and it was discovered that the vehicle’s registration was revoked for insurance. The motor vehicle was stopped and the operator/owner was issued a Massachusetts Uniform Citation and summonsed into court for Uninsured Motor Vehicle and Marked Lanes Violation.
08/25/2017 22:58 INCIDENT 17006022 B&E NIGHTTIME FOR FELONY c266 S16	CONCORD AVE A Cambridge resident reported that her apartment was broken into while she was at dinner.
