A Cambridge resident called CPD to report that her vehicle was damaged by another vehicle as she was parking her car. The other vehicle brushed her front left bumper as it drove by. The operator failed to stop and make himself known.

A resident of Cambridge reports stolen items from their parked vehicle. Credit cards were used at a local shopping mall shortly after. This incident happened on 8/30/17 between 3 a.m. and 6 a.m.

A resident of Brighton was issued a criminal citation for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Fail to Obey Traffic Control Sign (No Left Turn) after she was observed operating a motor vehicle that made a left turn from Hampshire Street onto Cambridge Street in violation of a "No Left Turn" posted sign.

A resident of Boston reports that an unknown suspect bumped into her in a department store. The victim then noticed a short time later that her phone was missing from her purse. The victim believes that the person who bumped into her stole the phone out of her purse.

A St. Paul Street resident reported being accosted by two males on 8/30/17 at approximately 4:50 p.m. She stated that the same two males driving a black motor vehicle have yelled suggestive comments to her over a two-week period. The incidents have all taken place on Prospect Street.

Cambridge Police responded to a Central Square business in regards to a shoplifter who got into a physical altercation with loss prevention employees. Brian Barbault, 29, 109 Pine Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest for Unarmed Robbery.

Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue for a reported disturbance. As a result of the follow-up investigation, a Cambridge resident will be summonsed to Cambridge District Court for possession of a class E substance.
