The manager of a Third Street business reported an unknown suspect entered
the establishment and attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. The manager
identified the currency was a sham, confiscated the fictitious currency, then
contacted authorities. The unknown suspect fled in an unknown direction prior
to responding officer’s arrival.

been the victim of an ongoing larcenous scheme while living in Cambridge, costing
him thousands of dollars.

Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for the report of a
shoplifting. Upon arrival, police were met by the stores loss prevention
officer who stated he observed a white male conceal multiple items in his bag
and jacket before passing all point of sales and walking out of the store.
The suspect was later identified as Isauah Plovnick, 26, of379 Pond Avenue,
Brookline. Before being apprehended, Plovnick was observed concealing food
items from another Massachusetts Avenue business. Plovnick was placed under arrest
for 2 counts of Shoplifting By Asportation.
