The manager of a Third Street business reported an unknown suspect entered the establishment and attempted to pass a counterfeit $100 bill. The manager identified the currency was a sham, confiscated the fictitious currency, then contacted authorities. The unknown suspect fled in an unknown direction prior to responding officer’s arrival.

An owner of a company in Cambridge reported that his employee stole money from him by cashing a check from a customer made out to him instead of the victim's company. The owner has tried numerous times to contact the employees but he hasn't returned any calls or texts.

A former Cambridge resident came to the police station to report that he had been the victim of an ongoing larcenous scheme while living in Cambridge, costing him thousands of dollars.

SHOPLIFTING BY ASPORTATION c266 S30A

MASSACHUSETTS AVE

Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for the report of a shoplifting. Upon arrival, police were met by the stores loss prevention officer who stated he observed a white male conceal multiple items in his bag and jacket before passing all point of sales and walking out of the store. The suspect was later identified as Isauah Plovnick, 26, of379 Pond Avenue, Brookline. Before being apprehended, Plovnick was observed concealing food items from another Massachusetts Avenue business. Plovnick was placed under arrest for 2 counts of Shoplifting By Asportation.
