Cambridge Police responded to Massachusetts Avenue at Dover Street for a past incident involving damage to a motor vehicle. Additionally, the suspect reached into the motor vehicle and took the owner’s phone out her hand by use of force.

Harvard Police called dispatch to inform them that a man was assaulted near the Johnston Gate. A West Boylston resident stated that he was almost struck by a car. After he yelled at the driver, the driver stopped the car, got out, and punched him in the face.

A Cambridge resident reported an attempted fraud. She had listed some items for sale on a website. The suspect attempting to purchase them tried to defraud her of $1,140 by an overpayment-refund scheme. The victim did not lose any money. Her bank noticed the fake check and did not process it.
