Cambridge Police responded to Cambridge Street and Cardinal Medeiros Avenue for the report of a male who had just reportedly stabbed another male. It was later confirmed that there was a fight involving several parties in which the victim sustained a laceration to his ear. The suspect later identified as Nelson Martinez, 47, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was approached and assaulted an officer. Martinez was arrested for Assault and Battery on a Police Officer.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Franklin Street and River Street following a reported armed robbery that just occurred. A Cambridge resident stated that he was walking in the area of Pearl Street and Allston Street around 7:30 p.m. this evening when he was approached by two black males wearing ski masks. Both suspects were wearing dark-colored sweatshirts and dark-colored pants. One of the suspects displayed a knife. The suspects stole a wallet, credit card and cash from the victim. Officers searched the area for the suspects to no avail.
