assault. After an investigation, police determined that David Crump assaulted
the victim by striking him with a cane. David Crump, 64, 10 Lancaster Street,
Cambridge, was arrested and charged with Assault & Battery With a
Dangerous Weapon +60.

Demetrius Reese, 23, of 112 Southhampton, Boston, was placed under arrest and
charged with Trespassing, Resisting Arrest, and Assault & Battery on a
Police Officer. Reese was charged after loss prevention officers at a Massachusetts
Avenue business asked him multiple times to leave the store. When police
officers arrived on scene, Reese refused to provide identification to
officers and leave the store. Reese then pushed an officer and resisted
arrest when officers tried to get control of him.
