One of the suspects was apprehended immediately and the other was caught a short time later after a brief foot pursuit. The victim of the breaking and entering was able to positively identify one of the two suspects. The damage to the motor vehicle indicated that the suspects were attempting a larceny of the vehicle itself after already having broken into the vehicle. The suspect that was positively identified, Christian Morales, 18, 317 Prospect Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest and charged with Attempted Larceny of a Motor Vehicle and Breaking and Entering to a Motor Vehicle in the Nighttime for a Felony. The second suspect, a male juvenile, was summonsed to court for the same charges as well as two counts of Malicious Damage to a Motor Vehicle after causing damage to a police cruiser and a second motor vehicle while attempting to flee from officers.
