Cambridge Police responded to a Massachusetts Avenue business for a report of an assault in progress. The victim reported that she was walking down Massachusetts Avenue when an unknown party struck her in the face with a closed fist. As a result of the assault, the victim had a contusion on her forehead and was visibly distraught. A witness followed the suspect and alerted Cambridge Police of their location. Responding units identified the suspect and placed her in custody.

Cambridge Police responded to a Mass Ave. business for a past shoplifting report. An investigation revealed that two female suspects entered the jewelry establishment and stole various pieces of jewelry and fled the location passing all points of sale. All attempts to locate both parties were met with negative results.

Cambridge Police responded to a residence in Cambridge to take a report from a resident who stated that there had been attempts to make purchases with their credit card information. After further investigation, it was discovered that the suspect in this case had committed Identity Fraud as the victim had paperwork showing that the suspect attempted to open several other credit cards in their name.

Two women from Boston – Tatyana Gray, 23, 130 Rowe Street in Roslindale, and Leah Powe, 25, 5 Ernest Avenue in Hyde Park -- were arrested for stealing over $900 worth of merchandise from various stores within a  CambridgeSide Place business. They were carrying theft detection device removal tools as well as the stolen property. Powe also had a stun gun in her possession.
