Rasheed Suarez, 37, 70 Bluehill Avenue in Roxbury, was arrested at a Cambridgeside Place business after he was observed walking out of the store and wearing clothing that he did not pay for. It was later discovered that Suarez was a sex offender and was in violation.

BISHOP ALLEN DR
Kevin Wells, 43, 240 Albany Street in Cambridge, was placed under arrest after fleeing a Central Square business with merchandise without paying. The manager of the store gave chase following Wells down Norfolk Street where a struggle ensued over the stolen duffel bag valued at $143.44. During the struggle over the merchandise, the manager was struck by Wells. A good Samaritan assisted the manager and, in the process, he was also struck by Wells. Due to his actions, Wells is charged with Unarmed Robbery and Assault and Battery.

An employee of animal store on Fresh Pond Parkway in Cambridge reports he was parked in the mall parking lot from 10:23 a.m. to noon. He came out to use his vehicle and noticed someone had struck the front driver’s side bumper and quarter causing damage. The suspect fled the area without making themselves known.

A vehicle was stopped on Flag Street for having an expired registration sticker. The owner/operator had failed to notify the Registry of Motor Vehicles that his address had changed and the registration was revoked for insurance. The car was towed and the owner was issued a criminal application.

Cambridge Police responded to the area of Cambridge Street for a report of an armed robbery. The suspect, who was armed with a knife, fled in an unknown direction and the victim (a clerk at a liquor store) states cash was taken. There were no reported injuries. Officers searched the area for a possible suspect, but were unable to locate an individual matching the description provided.

A Roxbury resident was summonsed to court for Assault and Battery on a Public Employee. He was found by employees of PRO Ambulance face down, unconscious, and bleeding from the nose and mouth. While attempting to transport him to the hospital, he became combative and spit blood into the face of one of the PRO Ambulances medics.
