Cambridge Police arrested Nathan Brito, 24, 9 Cherry Street in Medford, for Distribution of Class D Drug after being stopped for a motor vehicle infraction and not having a license in possession. While looking for the vehicle registration and rental agreement in the glove compartment, officers found four ounces of marijuana in clear plastic bags in a larger plastic bag.

Cambridge Police summonsed a Cambridge resident for Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Improper Left Turn. While conducting routine patrol, Cambridge Police initiated a motor vehicle stop for an illegal Left Turn on Massachusetts Avenue and Prospect Street for the driver. While conducting the motor vehicle stop, it was revealed that Chao was a foreign operator without required documents.

Joaquin Chavez, 45, homeless, was arrested for Shoplifting by Asportation, Providing A False Name After Arrest as well as a Warrant out of Chelsea District Court for Shoplifting by Asportation. Cambridge Police responded to a business at Cambridgeside Place for a report of an individual who was caught shoplifting and was being detained by loss prevention. Loss prevention stated that they witnessed an individual, later identified as Joaquin Chavez, conceal store merchandise in his jacket, and then leave the store. Chavez was found to be in possession of store merchandise valuing $80.

Solomon Oliver, 41, 820 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge, was arrested for Trespass After Notice and Disorderly Conduct at a food establishment. Oliver was observed by Cambridge Police yelling and shouting racial slurs at customers as they sat in the dining area. When instructed by Police to vacate the premise, he refused to leave. Oliver continued heckling customers to the extent that paying customers began to relocate themselves in order to avoid any contact with Oliver. After several attempts to deescalate Oliver’s obnoxious behavior and failure to leave the premise after notice, he was placed under arrest.
